Vertrouwen offers plenty of internal accommodation. The large wheelhouse offers panoramic views for ease of navigation, and also doubles as a good sized day lounge when moored. Steps lead aft to a double cabin, with plenty of storage space and a comfortable double berth. Steps lead forward to the main accommodation, a nice open plan space currently housing a rudimentary galley and large saloon, again with lots of windows offering plenty of light and excellent headroom. Forward is a wet room with toilet and shower, and a second double cabin. This internal area will need refurbishment and new heating, bathroom and kitchen, but offers plenty of space to create a wonderful cruising home. Underneath the wheelhouse is the engine room, very accessible from main accommodation of aft cabin, which houses a Scania D8 6 cylinder diesel engine, with 145 hp that offers plenty of power to cruise the waterways of the UK. Externally there is a good amount of usable deck space on which to enjoy your surroundings. Vertrouwen II is a lovely example of a traditional luxemotor, priced to sell on a secure residential mooring. Once refurbished she can be a lovely home, either cruising or static, or both. Within walking distance there is a general store and restaurant ∕ diner. There is a bus terminus with services to neighbouring areas. This popular village location provides something for everyone, with schools for all ages, restaurants and take aways, doctors, dentist, chemist, local shops, swimming pool and leisure centre. For car commuters you can be heading for the coast or London on the A2 ∕ M2 in under ten minutes. For rail commuters, the closest station will be Strood, where you can catch the high-speed service to London with a journey time of around forty minutes. Close to the river Medway with sailing facilities and many walks over open countryside.
