The South Devon Players are an internationally award winning, intergenerational Brixham theatre and film team, based in the beautiful fishing port of Brixham; Devon (in South West England). We perform theatre shows around Torbay and the wider Southwest; with international tours now in negotiation. We also create dramatic films, newly researched, based on historical events and legends, with a very high standard of historical and cultural research. Over the coming years we intend to expand our number of shows, and range of tours, and continue to encourage and develop expertise in theatre and film arts for local people, at a world class level consumate with our reputation. We are happy to help local people develop professional skills in theatre and film, to enable them to have the skills to directly create careers in theatre or film.
